Interpreting for Immigration & Refugee Board

The IRB is a good place to start your interpreting career. The IRB tests prospective interpreters whenever they foresee needs in various languages. This workshop will cover interpreting in immigration inquiries, detention reviews, refugee hearings, appeals, etc.

As a community interpreter working for various community and immigrant services agencies, many of your assignments will have an immigration aspect.
